Christmas was really nice this year. Although it was our year to be with my family, we made a special effort to spend Christmas Eve with Keith's side of the family. It was his aunts last year to host everyone and we had not seen a lot of his cousins in a while, so it was nice to catch up and see all the little ones. We had planned to have Isaiah's first Christmas at our house, but we gladly went to Nashville while waiting for our new little niece. It was keith, Isaiah, myself, my mom and dad, Casie and Michael, and Michael's family. It was so much fun to watch Isaiah play with his Santa gifts, and open his stocking stuffers. I sure am glad Santa didn't wrap his gifts, because it sure did take him a LONG time to unwrap his gifts from family members. As most people had already warned me, he enjoyed the paper and bows the most! It was nice to just be with family. Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. We watch one another open the gifts... Eat...Play games... Eat.... Play more games... Eat... Maybe watch a movie.... and, eat. It is a relaxing pajama day where we just enjoy one another and don't have to get in the car and drive everywhere. It has always been like that, and I love it. No time schedule, no hurrying, just enjoying the company of those we love.
My sisters baby "Violet Belle" arrived just shortly after Christmas. She is so beautiful, and truly a little miracle. I am just so excited for Casie and Michael and the road ahead of them. They are going to be such amazing, fun parents.
